My art work comes from staged photographs which I then incorporate into hand-embroidered paintings or which I create to weave tapestries and afterwards partly embroider by hand.

What fascinates me is the search of man to himself and to a place in life. The people I encounter during my work in health care (geriatrics) are an important source of inspiration to me.

What I see and experience in people among me -  I mix with my own experiences, questions and emotions. This mixing is the basis of my work.
